Current Vacancies

Role: Research Support Officer – Clinical (Nurse Manager)

Location: Cancer Trials Cork at Cork University Hospital

Salary: €51,933 – €61,160 p.a. (CNM1 Salary Scale)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Significant clinical responsibilities.
  • Take part in portfolio studies taking place in the Cancer Trials Cork unit at Cork University Hospital.
  • Engage cross-functionally with different stakeholders, knowledge sharing, and building relationships.
  • This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy, organization and an awareness of time management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Nurse (Mandatory RGN, BSc,).
  • Oncology background or related experience would be a strong advantage.
  • Strong interest in gaining experience in this area will also be considered without previous experience in Oncology nursing.

Role: Research Assistant-Admin (Data Manager) – 3 positions

Location: Cancer Trials Cork at Cork University Hospital

Salary: €29,275 – €39,158 p.a. (IUA Salary Scale)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation, updating, maintenance and validation of clinical study databases.
  • Provision of computerised reports of this data.
  • Auditing of clinical data and databases in compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory agency guidelines.
  • This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy, organization and an awareness of time management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Secretarial or other relevant qualification (BSc desirable).
  • Proven administrative ability.
  • Practical experience of providing administrative support to research projects or in a research area.
