Bon Secours Cork Cancer Centre

Clinical Trials Team

The Oncology Clinical Trials Unit in the Bons has grown from strength to strength since its founding in 1998 as an integral part of the Oncology MDT and service. The unit is led by Clinical Lead Professor Conleth Murphy and Trial Coordinator/CNM2 Lisa Stack.  The team consists of four consultant Principal Investigators, two research nurses, two medical registrars, a data manager, a clinical trial pharmacist and a financial analyst. The unit’s work would not be possible without the support and commitment of every hospital department from laboratories to radiology to cardiology as well as hospital management.

Cancer Trials Cork at the Bons Cork Cancer Centre continues to open clinical trials across many disease groups and to expand its portfolio to provide meaningful treatment options to patients. These disease areas include breast, colorectal, pancreatic, gastrointestinal, lymphoma, ovarian, and basket studies.
