Role: Senior Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Trials and Aseptic Compounding | CUH
Location: CUH/UCC Cancer Centre
Salary: €55,142 p.a.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the organisation of provision of pharmaceutical input into clinical trials within the Pharmacy Department.
- Manage clinical trial logs and data as required.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) within the Hospital in accordance with clinical trial protocols, national and international standards and laws.
- Manage the dispensing and recording of expanded access and compassionate use medicines.
- Participate in Aseptic based pharmacy services as required, in conjunction with Aseptic Compounding Unit (ACU) Pharmacy staff.
- Support the delivery of a high-quality Aseptic Compounding Service, under the management of the Aseptic Compounding Services Manager and Head of Pharmacy.
- Collaborate and co-ordinate service delivery with other Senior Pharmacy Technicians and Service Managers to ensure a high level of teamwork in the provision of an efficient, safe and cost-effective Pharmacy service.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- A graduate qualification in a field or discipline relevant to the area of investigation i.e. BSc, MSc or PhD.
- Proven experience of carrying out research in the relevant research speciality.
- Demonstrable achievements in delivering results.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders from a range of disciplines
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
